Easy Natural Cranberry Sauce

Prep Notes

  1. Zest half of the orange
  2. Cut away the peel and segment the orange
  3. Remove any of the white skin in the middle of the fruit

1 large organic orange

½ cup water

12 oz fresh cranberries(1 bag)

6 Medjool dates,pitted and diced

2 teaspoons fresh minced ginger

1 teaspoon cinnamon


  1. Add water to a medium saucepan and bring it to a boil
  2. Add the cranberries, dates, ginger, cinnamon, and segmented oranges to the sauce pan
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until sauce is reduced and thick
  4. Stir in the orange zest and refrigerate until serving
