Citrus Slaw
This is a simple, delicious citrus slaw bursting with color and flavor, no mayonnaise or sugar required!

Ingredients:
Salad
2 cups red cabbage (sliced thinly)
2 cups green cabbage (sliced thinly)
3 carrots (sliced thinly)
1 green apple (peeled and chopped)
1/2 lemon (squeezed)
1/2 lime (squeezed)
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar (optional)
Handful of cilantro (chopped finely)
Sea salt and black pepper (to taste)
Directions:
Slice and chop the veggies, apple, and cilantro
Place everything in a medium mixing bowl
Pour the apple cider vinegar, lemon and lime juice on the salad
Season with salt and pepper (to taste)
Toss everything together well
Enjoy a refreshing citrus side dish!
Notes:
Can make the dish sweet by adding in some stevia or raw honey and top with craisins
Can add some crunch by topping with pumpkin seeds or hemp seeds
If you are super short on time, feel free to purchase a pre-sliced slaw and just add in the rest of the ingredients! Whatever works for you! ;-)
