Garlic Roasted String Beans

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds of string beans

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon pepper (to taste)

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 Degrees

  • Place string beans in a large mixing bowl

  • Add in the sesame oil, coconut aminos, minced garlic, lemon, sea salt, and pepper to the bowl

  • Toss all ingredients together

  • Transfer the string beans on a lined baking sheet in an even layer

  • Place baking sheet in the oven and roast for about 18-20 minutes or until golden brown

  • Serve warm as a side or enjoy cold in a salad!

Notes:

  • The string beans should be slightly crunchy
