Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Cooking Time: 25-30 Minutes

Total Time: 35-40 Minutes

Servings: 6 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds of brussels sprouts

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil or extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic

  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon pepper (to taste)

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 Degrees

  • Place tinfoil on baking sheet

  • Cut off the tips of the brussels sprouts and slice brussels in half

  • Place the brussels sprouts in a mixing bowl

  • Squeeze 1/2 lemon juice evenly onto the brussels

  • Drizzle oil onto brussels sprouts

  • Add in the seasonings

  • Toss all ingredients together

  • Place baking sheet in the oven and roast 25-30 minutes or until golden brown (Toss halfway through)

Notes:

  • Can add in a teaspoon of raw, unfiltered honey for extra sweetness

  • Can leave the brussels whole, but will take a few more minutes to cook through
