Sautéed Green Beans

Servings: 4 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of Green Beans

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, coconut oil, or avocado oil

  • 1-2 tablespoons coconut aminos (note, the aminos are strong, so pour slowly until desired taste)

  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt (to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon Pepper (to taste)

  • Optional: slivered almonds

Directions:

  • Wash green beans and drain with colander

  • Pour oil in large skillet over a medium-low heat and add the minced garlic. Stir until garlic lightly browns

  • Place washed green beans in skillet

  • Add the coconut aminos and lemon and stir until evenly coated

  • Cover the green beans and sauté for 5 minutes or until desired consistency (I prefer my string beans be semi crunchy)

  • Sprinkle sea salt and pepper

  • Place in bowl and serve!

Notes:

  • Can add slivered almonds for extra crunch!
