Simple Homemade Hummus

Servings: 6-8 Servings
Ingredients:
¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
15 oz (one can) of organic chickpeas, rinsed and drained
3 tablespoons organic unsweetened salt-free tahini
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (to taste)
¾ teaspoon sea salt (to taste)
4 cloves of garlic, minced (to taste)
1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (to taste)
1 teaspoon of Paprika (to taste)
Directions:
Place olive oil, chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, salt, garlic, and cayenne pepper into a blender with the S blade and pulse until your desired consistency
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika (can also garnish with chopped parsley)
Serve with sliced veggies
Notes:
Play around with the garlic depending on your tastebuds.
Can also serve with crackers. My favorite are Mary’s Gone Crackers, which are Gluten Free, come in a variety of flavors, and are crunchy and delicious!
