Sweet and Savory Stove Top Baby Carrots

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh whole baby carrots

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon garlic

  • 1 teaspoon raw, unfiltered honey

  • Water

Directions:

  • Place the carrots in a large pot or saute pan

  • Toss carrots with olive oil, sea salt, cinnamon, garlic, and honey

  • Cover carrots with water

  • Bring to a boil over high heat and cook until carrots are tender for about 15 minutes.

  • Remove from the stove and drain carrots in a strainer.

Notes:

  • Can sprinkle extra cinnamon, sea salt, pepper, or drizzle extra olive oil to taste!
