Baked Wild Lemon Herb Cod

Ingredients:
4 cod filets
1 lemon
1 tablespoon avocado oil or ghee
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon oregano
half teaspoon thyme
half teaspoon rosemary
sea salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Place cod fillets in a 13 x 9 baking dish
In a small mixing bowl combine: 1 tablespoon oil, juice from half a lemon, minced garlic, oregano, rosemary, thyme, sea salt, and pepper
Pour the mixture evenly on top of the fish
Place the lemon slices on top of the fish
Move fillets to a 13 x 9 baking dish
Place in the oven for 15 minutes until fish is opaque, but soft, tender, and juicy
Notes:
If you have time, let fish and seasonings marinate in the refrigerator for an hour to soak up the juices
